Michaela brought home a caterpillar and the whole family was able to experience the cycle of life. We saw the caterpillar eating happily on his leaves one day and the next day he was encased in his cocoon, a few days (or maybe longer) later before school we witnessed him wiggle out of his cocoon and become a beautiful butterfly. It was hard to capture the butterfly on film, but what we do know is that as soon as we opened the container he flew away.. while he was flying away we all agreed that he was going straight to whisper in Panama Grandma's ear on how much we miss her!
